November 8, 11:30 a.m. Speaker: Kerin Delaney, Executive Director of Falmouth Service Center

Kerin Delaney, Executive Director of the Falmouth Service Center, will speak about the many ways the Center assists families who are facing hardships and challenges in our community.  The types of assistance provided include grocery distribution, financial assistance to stave off evictions or utility shut-offs, distribution of school supplies in September, and holiday gifts in December.  The need for help with food increased by 53% between last year and this.  Ms. Delaney will also detail the variety of ways community members may support this important work of easing stress, reducing hunger, and improving the quality of life for neighbors in need.

The meeting will be held at the Church of the Messiah Parish and Community Center, 16 Church Street in Woods Hole.  Light refreshments will be served and those attending may bring a brown bag lunch if they wish. Windows will be open for ventilation and masks are encouraged for attendees when not eating or drinking.

This event is open to the public.  New members are welcomed at any time during the year.  Information about membership is available here.
