The Woods Hole Woman’s Club will host its annual Scholarship Tea between 3 and 4:30 pm on Tuesday, May 6, at The Church of the Messiah Parish and Community Center, 16 Church Street in Woods Hole. The seven recipients of this year’s scholarships are invited to join us with their parents and will be asked to speak briefly about their college plans. Visitors are welcome to attend and to support the scholarship fund. The tea is one of the major fundraising events for the fund. Please write checks to “WHWC Charitable Foundation.” The presentation of scholarships has been a part of the Club’s community service since 1927. In the last forty years, one hundred fifty high school seniors from Precinct 1 have received awards.
Sandwiches and baked goods will be served.
Please carpool if you can. Parking is available in the lot south of the Church in front of the cemetery and along the road, unless expressly prohibited. The limited number of spaces in the lot directly in front of the Parish Center should be used by those who benefit from having closer access to the building and for short-term parking to make deliveries.
New members are welcome at any time during the year. Information about membership is available here
